A report from U.N. weapons inspectors to be released today says they now believe there were no weapons of mass destruction of any significance in Iraq after 1994

First, whatever is known today is known only because the US invaded the country. Without that knowledge, Saddam would still be running his shell game. Second, this "1994" date dismisses the programs that Hussein Kamel revealed in 1995, for bio and chem weapons if I recall correctly, as not signficant.

Does the UN only count it if there are big stockpiles? or have they just conveniently forgotten about Hussein Kamel? He was quite the embarrassment for them then, as Hans Blix was about to give Iraq a clean bill of health until he spilled the beans.
