I don't like the idea of early voting, but I also am against "motor voter registration."

I was raised to believe voting was a privilege, so it not only is our right, it is our duty to see that we are registered (in an official registration office) and to vote on the day set aside for elections.

If a person cannot get to his/her voting place on election day, (someone in the military) then they may be issued an absentee ballot. The easier it is made for unofficial people to register other people to vote, the more likelihood of fraud.

When did we start throwing away our voting rights?
For every fraudulent vote cast out there, one of our votes is canceled.

I will now put away my soap box..just had to rant.
