Kerry didn't receive an official honorable discharge from the Navy until someone during the Clinton Administration issued one for him.

Communist conSpirititor- Get your facts straight. You disgrace and dishonor as does your duplicitous hero JK, those who served with courage and honor. The crux of the trouble with the differing accounts regarding JK and his actions and medals stems from one truth, JK himself wrote up the reports of his actions used to validate his 'medal qualifications' by superiors then he never authorized the public release of all these documents for verification. The truth is if you study and compare his words from his two books and the words by him in interviews, primarily with the Boston Globe, he even contradicts himself, many times. So it is when deception is your goal. Captian Elliott based his support of JK on the accounts he read by JK and of which he had no reason to doubt...until the truth began to trickle out from those who were their and knew the truth. Even those vets on JK's boat and other boats who went on patrols with JK did not realize what fabrications JK was making up when he wrote his reports. Why? JK was the 'skipper' of his boat and did not need to show the action reports to anyone of his crew or other boat skippers. He took full advantage of this loophole for personal gain and does so to this day still. Thes reports were the basis of the descriptive citations later written and awarded by the Commanders. You use your half baked concoctions of twisted fabrications by JK as evidence that 300 swiftboat veterans are liars and that, to quote you "See why the lying Bushies have to smear him? he[JKerry] was a super hero." You are sorely misinformed. The truth is known only to the veterans who were there and to JK. They have tried to air their side but have been sumarily squashed by an elete partisan media with a huge pro liberal bias. JK has stonewalled on signing the release form to open all his records for public scrutiny...why? He is terrified that the truth will be known beyond question, as it is by almost everyone who already served with him. Why does this matter? bECAUSE JKerry has made it the corner stone of his fitness to be President. Bush has never made similar claims though he served honorably as a fighter jet pilot in the Guard. Who by the way makes up a huge portion of present fighting men and women. He was shocked to find out that Kerry had beached his boat second in a preplanned operation, and that he had killed a single, wounded teenage foe as he fled."
