I blame Greenspasm the most. In the mid-90's when he KNEW the stock market was a bubble and rising too fast, he should have ended margin stock buying. The entire US population cannot discipline themselves. Everyone thinks they have to have more than their parents did, and they have to have it NOW. This pervasive idea of taking what you want when you want no matter the future consequences has been demonstrated and condoned from Bush, Clinton, ALL of Congress, and down to most citizens as the entire population uses DEBT with no regard for what it is doing to the country, and now everyone will pay. Kerry will not be able to stop the problems, nor will Bush -- although I don't believe either will even try if it would mean they or members of Congress would have to give up even 1% of their "kingly" lifestyles. These people who take over a million dollars each year in just "benefits" have no idea what real life is for many, and Greenspasm and banks have lessened the requirements for borrowing so that Joe Schmo borrows until he can't possibly pay it all back. $100,000 salaries, expensive cars, plasma TV's, multiple cell phones, designer clothing, only eating out and never at home, endless entertainment, shorter work weeks, producing NOTHING, drug use supported by the gov't to further prop up the economy, lies and distortions -- the dollar will be viewed like wooden nickels. Allowing foreign entities to own 1/2 or more of the country adds further insult to injury. Outsourcing jobs so we can continue to buy entertainment "necessities" and on and on it goes. The next President will probably go down as the worst one in history simply because of when he is taking office. Google at $187 says it all. America -- land of the prisoner sheep and the cowards (economically speaking).

I remain,

SOROS

This is not Bush's fault. It's Clinton's.. Nothing has happened bad on the Bush watch. No 9/11 after he was warned about Bin Laden and choose to ignore it. No war for WMD..which weren't there. No 14.000 Iraq killed, over 1.100 of our servicemen.

THE dollar stinks...and all you say is true. But there will be some Blogger on here telling you that it's Clinton's fault.
Or Soros for making the world look bad before the election.

Don't you understand. Bush is responsible for nothing... bad that is. Oh, and the gas prices being high aren't his fault either. It isn't the war in Iraq where the oil was not only going to pay for the war but bring prices down. Even though we have the highest gas prices ever it isn't Bush's fault.

ON HIS WATCH.
