<Iraq is the last remaining presently unexploited huge source of oil on the planet.> Yes, provided the damage done to the oil wells by retreating Republican Guardsmen and Insurgents is not irreparable. As I understand it, the consultants and engineers haven't had enough of a window of safety to have a real good look at all the fields.
