A list weighted towards oil instead of NG -

Message 20684902

I'm really grateful to everyone who replied. Ask and ye shall recieve.

On today's technicals, I like

MSSN
TXCO
TMXN - not sure how far this will go

in roughly that order.

For more natural gas plays,I like

TMR may have news Wensday or after
GMXR corp. turnaround in NG E&P
ERF canroy
PMT.to canroy

*************non oil and gas *****

PDG Placer Dome mining
NSC Norfolk Southern trains -moves coal, lumber, grain, etc.

lots of things I have, which are heavy on energy, are looking tired, or hitting resistance, or in a channel. Waiting for the
realization that high energy prices aren't going away.

I might be moving more towards cash soon.

I'm thinking about Japan, down because of Earthquakes. Yen / USD has that cloudy.

Oh, my dear friend that is what everyone would love! I recall very well the petrodollars being recylced in the late 70's.

Countries borrowed at variable rates to finance oil purchases. Once they owe money enough. Comes Paul Volcker and racked up interest rates to double digits and rake in the cash. 1982, remember?

I've notcied that is more and more difficult to do a nice looting such as the one done during the 80s in debt crisis or the one during the Asian meltdown.
