Saddam behaved for nearly 13 years.

"Not going to war" alone is not a credential for leadserhip. When Saddam came to power, Iraq's economy was the equal of Spain. 20 years later it was a complete basket case. That's not a sign of "stability", its a sign of among the worst destructions of economic wealth on the planet.

His removal was justified many years earlier....

Ted, In what way wasn't it stable? After all, Saddam behaved for nearly 13 years.

Sanctions, no-fly zones, oil-for-palaces, and Saddam thumbing his nose at the world. All contributing to the misery of the Iraqi people. And America get blamed for it.

Saddam was the Iraqis' problem. They helped create him and it was their responsibility to take care of him. Its called a nation's manifest destiny. Novel concept, huh?

By the way, have you seen Team America yet? There was a funny part in the movie where "Sean Penn" was raving about how Iraq used to be such a rainbow-covered paradise until America came in. Great illustration of the lunacy coming from the anti-war crowd!

Ten, its a movie.........a work of fiction based very loosely on the facts. Sean Penn never said that............and you might think of the anti war crowd as lunatics but to my mind, they are the only sane ones around.
