Re: Someone in the Republican Party needs to be bigger than this, and say, hey, look what we're doing to the country by mobilizing the RRR - we win votes, we win the election, but we are creating a huge potential risk for this country say about 20 years from now.

The flip-side of the GOP NOT mobilizing and co-opting the RRR is for the latter to set up its OWN far-right party in the US. What could prevent them from it? The RRR's got the money --just let Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell get on TV --prime time-- and urge millions of viewers to donate to the new "Jesus party"...

...They've got media muscle --hey, religious right leaders run their OWN media outlets (Christian Broadcast Network + hundreds of hatemongering radio stations across "flyover America")...

And finally, they've got followers --MILLIONS of Jesus freaks in the South and beyond.

Incorporating the RRR into a standalone, third party in the US --or merely allowing it to happen-- is ALSO a MAJOR risk for the US --clue:

But now, with the advent of Bush and Rove, you are seeing...a lack of understanding by Judges to remove God from the pledge to respect the separation of religion and govt, and so on.

Oh, I get it. If Bush is president, then he controls the judiciary and is responsible for any judge's decision. "With the advent of Bush, you are seeing a lack of understanding by judges." Bush might object to rulings on abortion, flag burning, or gay marriage, but you figure he's responsible for all the ones you don't like.
