There was enough of an operational relationship between al Qaeda and Iraq, that the United States blew up the only pharmaceutical plant in the Sudan. Former Secretary of Defense Cohen defended the attack and repeated the Clinton Administration's view (that al Qaeda and Iraq were in the process of cooking chemical weapons in the Sudan) to the 9-11 Commission. Richard Clarke mentions a linkage between al Qaeda, Iraq, and the bombing of the Sudanese "chemical plant" in his book. As far as I know, hindsight has not changed the view of either man.

Further, at least one member of Abu Sayyaf has admitted that Iraq (under Saddam) had offered a bounty for killing Americans.

Did you read the report?

Did you read the articles I linked to you that cite Saddam/Al
Qaeda links directly from the 9/11 Commission Report?

I bet the answer is no.

You are dreaming if you still believe that Saddam had no ties
to Al Qaeda.

"And what we do not have, as the chairman said, is any evidence of a concrete collaborative operational agreement."

Christ almighty! What do you want? Video tape of Saddam & Bin
Laden signing a "concrete collaborative operational
agreement"? Do you honestly think that they collaborated
openly & thoroughly documented every single contact for
public consumption?

Did Japan & Germany have a "concrete collaborative
operational agreement"?

How many 9/11's will it take before you quit your partisan BS
& get serious about the global WOT?
