I think it is very important to vote, but the importance should come from within, not from some partisan or activist's urging.

We should have a society in which most people feel motivated to vote without being coerced into it by hype or stealth.

Presidential elections have been captured by professionals and pollsters. I think we should toss out the whole process as it exists now and do away with this excruciating campaign. Let people make up their minds independently based on they already know. Then just go to the polls and vote.

You're right, there is nothing difficult about it, and if it is too difficult for the person, they don't have to vote.
