It sure seems like someone is telling him to hang it up. I'm so bummed for he and his family. I know he has at least 3-5 more GOOD years of football that he could play but the guy has really had a tough go of things the past year. The players around him, the coaching staff and the management OWE him another Super Bowl. It's UFB to me that they didn't go into the season and step it up for him and now we sit at 3-4.

We, as fans, have been blessed with his efforts over the past 13 years and I will never forget that. I didn't think I'd ever see another Super Bowl or legend in Green Bay. Taking my son to Lambeau to see Favre and getting a Vernon Biever black & white photo of Hornung and Lombardi signed by #5 was huge. I've had tears in my eyes several times since then just thinking about what an historic event my son saw. I told him he wont know the value of that picture until he is older and he wont realize how much that meant for me until he has a son. Just typing this message I have tears rolling down my cheeks. I'm a big fat softy inside

My prayers go out for the Favre family

God bless them for all they've given us

I dunno. Favre sure had that special smile back on last week.

I was thinking him and Sherm made a deal or something. I'll keep playing if you don't let that other dufus call the plays anymore.

If they go on a run here again like last year maybe there is still hope for Favre staying on. Assuming Deanna recovers in good health of course.
