Speaking of Carter: This reminds me of 1975/76: Country coming out of recession. Liberals calling Ford a "Dumb Ass" Democrat challenger weak on defense. Democrats complaining about economic policy. So what did they accomplish when they won the White House. Higher inflation and interest rates than seen in years. The humiliation of the Iran Hostages and the failed rescue. The democrats were able to pull the wool over the voters eyes in 1976, but they won't be able to do it this time.
