This time around dems are straining at the bit to vote. They aren't turning out because it is their civic duty to cast a vote, they are doing it because casting their ballot against Bush is something they have been yearning to do for the past three years:

"In Georgia the early voting lines are two hours & more...but nobody is leaving....a woman was quoted in paper this morning saying that she'd wait "'two weeks, two years, whatever," to be able to vote against Bush."
