Elroy, When Saddam came to power, Iraq's economy was the equal of Spain. 20 years later it was a complete basket case. That's not a sign of "stability", its a sign of among the worst destructions of economic wealth on the planet.

Exactly. And once again, America gets blamed for it, a big reason being that we helped Saddam rise to power in the first place.


Nonsense. Whoever is blaming America for Saddam's destruction of Iraq's economy is a fool. Don't listen to those schmucks!

The personal most directly involved in taking an action (or actions) is probably the most responsible.

Saddam ruined Iraq. The killers killed those 50 Iraqi police trainees. And George allowed the insurgency to grow to its current level rather than nipping it in the bud (when he had the chance if only he had planned for post-combat Iraq), it's really that simple...
