Why would anyone be surprised that ammo dumps were not immediately secured after the invasion?

These arrogant incompetents were so busy wallowing in their neocon triumph that they thought resistance would immediately cease and democracy would flower.

The ‘contented Christian with four aces’ REALLY didn’t think there was going to be any casualties in Iraq.

They really didn’t think there was going to be post-war looting. No need to guard anything.

They really didn’t think there was going to be a post-war insurgency. Those wimpy Baathists? C’mon.

They honestly believed that Gen. Shinseki was dead wrong about necessary troop levels.

Tommy Franks honestly believed we would be down to 30,000 within months of “Mission Accomplished”.

They thought it would be like Paris in August of 1944. You know….ecstatic Iraqis lining the streets cheering wildly, flowers in rifle barrels, children dancing behind soldiers and begging for chocolate.

They were absolutely deadass wrong and the grave consequences of that colossal blunder is alone enough to throw these fools out on their ass.
