In Games 3, 4, and (if necessary) 5 in St. Louis, it looks like David Ortiz will play first base, Kevin Millar will be benched, and Pedro Martinez will have to bat -- thanks to the lack of a designated hiter at the National League ballparks.

Pedro has a career batting average of .064 with two doubles, a triple, no home runs and 7 RBIs. But he hasn't gotten a hit since 1997, when he was with the Montreal Expos. He's 0-for-19 since joining the Red Sox.

Yet, I think the Red Sox will adapt and play quite well in St. Louis...They only need to take 1 out of the next 3 games to return to Boston with a 3-2 lead...Closing out the series at Fenway Park would not be a bad thing at all...;-)
