That would only be on energy trusts??? If you invested in shares of a CDN gold company or a manufacturing company then sold them at a profit I don't think the CDN's tax you on that, do they??? It is my understanding you would only pay capital gains in those cases to your own IRS.

In any event, at 85 % invested in Canada your truck may not be backed up but it's certainly idling in reverse. Jeez...you're more heavily invested here than I am. That makes you a candidate for citizenship. Welcome bro!
