Wasn't it Bush who promised he is a uniter ? he failed to deliver. Come on. He gave it more of a shot than anyone previously. The election did most of the dividing. After all, you had Ted et al claiming he wasn't _their_ president even before he was sworn in. He threw you guys bones with no child left behind, the medicare bill and many others, yet you won't give him any credit for doing so. Yup. He threw bones with little meat on them. Brian, Bush's foreign policies are so repugnant to me and against everything for which I stand, he could burp sweet nectar at home and it would do nothing for me. ted
