Wait until the ordinary American starts to pay heating bills this Winter. Fortunately I tied in with a contract in May that would be double now what I am obliged to pay. Forget gas at the pumps. No one seems to mind but here in N.C. a very severe Winter is forecast with 4 ice storms and 27 snow storms. BRRRRRR..... The absurdity of all of this. The rising debt and now the request for 70 billion more dollars to finance the war.. Wouldn't it be nice if we had use that money to patrol our borders,increase the Homeland Security,inspect the ships coming into ports.. especially the tankers. Or better secure our borders... ? Oh, how about helping the sick and impoverished or decreasing the cost of Medicare instead of increasing. How can we not see that we are in inflation of deflation .... Everything is going up except the income of ordinary Americans .. retirees on pensions such as myself.. The illusion that President Bush is telling us that everything is grand is just that and ILLUSION.
