As is usually the case, it is easier to identify problems than to come up with solutions. Human rights is an ignorance issue whereas poverty is more of a resources issue. Unfortunately, current technology isn’t sufficient to elevate the entire world to the standard of living the US currently enjoys and while economic downturns are undesirable, we all know we are infinitely better off than the vast majority of people on the planet. I think energy is easily the biggest resource problem we will face this century. * * *
