I have been examining alleged cases like this before this afternoon, before this exchange with you. It is never convincing that more was going on then excessive zeal not to miss another clue or neglect to connect dots. After all, weren't the intelligence services blamed for not being quick enough in connecting dots in respect of the events of 9/11?..... Intellectually, I think that Scalia is the most qualified. But Scalia lacks the proper temperament, and I think that Thomas would afford better leadership to the court.
