Give me a break. You want to split hairs & revise history to DNC Talking Points rather than deal with reality. Saddam was under a ZERO Tolerance policy - AKA UN Resolution 687. The 9/11 Commission Report was but one report to conclusively establish numerous ties between Saddam & Al Qaeda. It also establishes numerous ties to other external & internal terrorist groups. The Senate Intelligence Committee Report added significantly to the ties to Al Qaeda & other terrorist groups. The Iraq Survey Group lists a wealth of evidence of Saddam's ties to Al Qaeda & many other terror organizations. The CIA also released/leaked a detailed document that irrefutably tied Saddam to all manner of terrorist ties. Saddam harbored, supported, financed, trained & was directly involved in numerous terrorist activities. The Gulf War Cease Fire Agreement demanded he unconditionally eliminate any ties to terrorist activities, both internally & externally. Text of UN Resolution 687 dalebroux.com
