think they're trying to make a big issue out of this now to take the heat of Jacques Chirac and his band of conspirators who were in cahoots with Saddam.

Apparently you have not seen the picture of Saddam shaking hands with Rumsfeld before the first Gulf War.Maybe you also forgot about America supporting Saddam's eight year war against Iran.
