BTW, do you think the company was being lead personally by Bush or did some company grade officer make the decision?

What it suggests is that WMD and "terrorism" was never really the focus of the mission.

Makes perfect sense... if your commander in chief is merely concerned with "taking Baghdad quickly... lets git that oil a pumpin'!!", is expecting "no casualties" and to expects to be "welcomed with open arms" ...

The WMD claim was BS. But having 380 tons of explosives available for terrorists is the worst possible outcome for us. These are precisely the explosives that are of most value to terrorists. Invading Iraq made them available to terrorists -- nice going.
