It appears on the face that Bush has thwarted several attacks. How many attacks during Clinton's term? 5 6? That is a pace of one every year and a half. How many attacks since 9/11? None! At Clinton's pace we should have been attacked at least once more if not twice.

Bush has shifted the field of conflict. It is now Iraq instead of America. Perhaps you would prefer if Boston were attacked next?

I believe the criticism of Clinton WRT the USS Cole
had to do with his failure to take action after it occurred.

Like your boy, Cinton treated terrorism as a police problem
and nuisance that would just go away...
