ROFLOL. The first time I read that nonsense, I provided the sequence of events (Japan bombed Pearl, Germany declared war on us, then we declared war on Germany) with links.

I received no thanks for the history lesson. Apparently the Borg doesn't recognize new input unless it comes from Faux News. And they don't realize Faux News is mostly wrong.

So what if Hitler declared war on us? Hitler was half a world away, wasn't an imminent threat, and didn't attack us.

As to the merchant ships he sank, they were en route to Europe with munitions and supplies to help the Europeans. FDR caused those attacks, because those ships were helping the Europeans fight against Hitler. If we hadn't helped the Europeans, Hitler wouldn't have had any more reason to attack those ships than Saddam had to attack us. Right?

Oh, wait a minute. Saddam was shooting at our planes in the no-fly zone, daily. And he tried to assassinate Bush I. And he supported terrorist attacks on our ally, Israel. And, he was buying off France and other UN members so he could get the sanctions lifted and start re-arming. So, I guess maybe Saddam was engaged in some kind of undeclared, low level war against us. Right?
