alan, The terrorists know how weak Kerry would be toward them. They know that, if all of the decisions are made by the UN, which Kerry has said he will try to get, not only precious time will be lost, and more American military people are killed, but all that has been done to bring democracy to the muslim world, will be thrown out the window.

I am, almost, to the point, that since the ones we are trying to help, don't seem to give a damn, we ought to just bring our people home, and let the people of the Middle East kill each other. That would be no skin off my nose. Then we could use our troops to keep American soil heavily defended, and so powerful that others would know better than to try and attack us. I don't like it, but am becoming more of an isolationist than ever before.

The main thing that makes me fear Kerry, is that he has all the earmarks of a socialist, and many of the proposals he has made, are taken from the socialistic manual. If citizens think we have little freedom from the government now, just wait 'til the find out how socialism works. Instead of being of different values on the chess board of America, we will all be pawns, except the self appointed elite that will control all of the money, and dole it out as they see fit, with what is left after the stuff their own pockets with as much as the want. That's the way socialism, and communism, have always worked in history. There is no reason they have changed their goals.
