Elroy, I wonder how many children got beat up at school in the USA simply because their name was French? Our Congressional people should know better. How in the world did you expect the US government to react when the French lead a campaign to pull the international diplomatic rug out from under the US's feet? You know, "we're all on the same team, we're all on the same team, we're all on the same team, oh! time for action! we're not on the team, we're not on the team....." What did the Americans do to the French? We renamed French fries Freedom fries. Yowza! What did the French do to the Americans? They supported the coalition's mobilization of troops for the largest military campaign of the past 20 years, enjoyed the leverage those troops provided, then fought as hard as possible to allow deployment of those troops in their most effective manner (which would have been with UN support). And you are upset with the Americans. Think again about which country has caused more harm to the other.
