I did NOT claim that [I even said "do they accept a promise from Newmont?]. I just said you should look into it if you don't like the mechanism in place for gold delivery. I still say that's a good idea [while not giving an opinion on it] because you seen to assert that if the gold isn't on site, it's 'naked short'. That appears naive to me, but to each his own.

The main thrust of your assertion was the paper markets [to me that means COMEX] were rigged against the shorts. I dispute that... and you've presumably dropped it.
