Elroy, If you are not Jewish, would you want the Star of David on all (or any) of your government papers, or in your government's workplace?

It wouldn't really matter to me.

Well you're not the norm then, don't you agree?

A meaningful percentage of America's non-Jewish population does not want the Star of David on their government documents or displayed in their government buildings.

You at least agree with that, don't you (even though you yourself don't care)?

Tenchusatsu, RE: "It wouldn't really matter to me."

You are not a religious fanatic, you would probably not start a war over where a line is drawn, or what religion is followed.

But what about the religious fanatic who it really matters to?

Do we really want a middle east situation here?

This is a concern.

While it wouldn't matter to you, it might matter to some other folks:

I had reminded a poster on a different thread there are other religions in addition to Christianity.

The reply:

"yes, there are many "religions"...so what's your point..that does not change the truth. Satan very much wishes you to keep believing that any old path is good enough"

We're now removing historic symbols because someone might be offended. Secularists are remaking images of government according to their will, and even little crosses aren't immune.

Why not? I know Christians who would be offended if the Star of David was on the LA seal. Why would the Jews and Muslims not be offended by a cross?

Besides, why is this so important to you? Are you not happy with your own faith?
