A Kerry victory will go a long way towards curing what ails us, but it is just the first step.

After the election (and accompanying celebration) we need to keep working to destroy the republican party as it exists today. The neocons are too dangerous to let up on them.

Regardless of who wins next tuesday, all of us here should pledge to support the winner and remove animus from the debate over iraq and other matters.

What do you think that odds of that occuring are?
