Kerry's Last Minute Dirty Tricks

John Kerry is so desperate to win, and so frightened that he will not, that he is using the dirtiest of dirty tricks in these last days before Election Day. These include censorship, voter fraud, intimidation, coercion, registering felons to vote for him, illegally using churches for political rallies and his old standby, outright outrageous lies. Although there are other important issues facing this nation, we felt that it was vital that we devote every word of this issue to exposing Kerry’s lies and illegal election tricks. We face a national emergency. If Kerry is elected, all the other important issues will seem trivial.
DIRTY TRICK #1: CENSORSHIP. Kerry pushed and promoted Michael Moore’s filthy attack on President Bush, “Fahrenheit 911.” Called a documentary, it was anything but; there was zero truth in it. Moore used short clips of Bush speaking totally out of context to make it appear the President espoused views that were exactly the opposite of his stated views. Bush did nothing to try to prevent the publication or distribution of this collection of trash, which was even denounced by the left-leaning National Public Radio.
Now a group of highly decorated Vietnam Veterans (many of who served on the same boats as Kerry And have first-hand knowledge of his activities) have produced a real documentary. This one actually contains truth – what a concept – concerning Kerry’s Vietnam and post-Vietnam activities. Sinclair Broadcasting planned to air the documentary, "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal." The documentary featured prisoners of war who testified that Kerry’s open support of the Communist Vietnamese Government directly resulted in additional torture from their captors.
Kerry's aides threatened Sinclair, making it clear that if they are elected they will exact revenge. Faced with this threat, Sinclair backed down, so America will not have the ability to view all the facts before voting. Instead of airing the documentary, Sinclair was intimidated into producing a show that included only a few minutes of the documentary. Interestingly, Kerry, who was invited to defend his position on camera, refused. Could it be that he knows his position is indefensible?
Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton told an interviewer that Sinclair is “going to regret doing this, and they better hope we don't win.” As the Sinclair spokesman said, this is a clear threat that if Kerry becomes president, he will use the power of the FCC to punish Sinclair and any other broadcaster which dared to oppose Kerry. This is censorship of the worst kind.
In addition to these threats, Democrat lawyers have:
1) Filed a complaint attempting to force the FCC to intervene and block Sinclair from broadcasting the documentary. (The FCC refused, presumably due to respect for a quaint concept, our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech - something Kerry thinks only he should enjoy.)
2) Filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission, which also properly refused to intervene.
3) Threatened to oppose renewal of the FCC licenses of the group’s 62 stations. This is pure, illegal intimidation.
4) Threatened lawsuits against Sinclair directly. In doing so, according to Sinclair, the lawyers “reminded” the company that their stock price would fall if the lawsuits were filed. This is extortion.
DIRTY TRICK #2: VOTER FRAUD. There is an old joke about Kennedy’s election that is now making the rounds again: “some of the people who voted for JFK were actually alive.” A more recent one: “The deceased are the Democrats largest voter block.” Unfortunately there is a large body of evidence that produces jokes like this. Even more unfortunate, the Democrats have discovered new and more imaginative ways to steal votes.
It is against the law for felons to vote. But Kerry staffers have assembled thousands of canvassers to enroll felons, both in and out of prisons, to vote for Kerry. Why would the felons care who wins. Most of them live off our tax dollars through welfare when they are not living off our tax dollars in jail. Kerry is the Welfare candidate. And in counties controlled by Democrats, election officials ignore the fact that the voter registrations come from convicted felons.
Here is Florida, many elderly people use absentee ballots because they have a hard time getting to the polls. Democrat operatives have offered their services to thousands of retirees, telling them that they will make sure their votes are turned in. There is little doubt which boxes will be checked if Democrats handle them.
Kerry operatives are using many other illegal dirty tricks to throw this election. Apparently he feels that since he can’t win on the issues, and he is incapable of telling the truth, his last best hope is voter fraud.
DIRTY TRICK #3: KERRY PLANS TO HAVE THE ELECTION DECIDED BY JUDGES. Kerry knows that he will lose a general election. So he has assembled thousands of Democrat lawyers and assigned them locations in key states. According to Rush Limbaugh, Kerry has “election lawyers” stationed less than one hour away from every possible battleground location. He plans to make the pain that Al Gore caused this country in what I call the “Thirty-six days Gore held America hostage” pale by comparison.
If Kerry has his way, this election could still be tied up in the courts after Inauguration Day in January. He has millions of dollars set aside for the sole purpose of filing lawsuits for every little incident, real or manufactured by his operatives, that occurs in any city or hamlet in the nation. He will attempt to use local courts, then circuit courts, then state appeals courts, then state Supreme courts, then Federal District Courts, then Federal Appeals Courts, and finally the US Supreme Court. He plans to do this with dozens, perhaps hundreds of cases.
And who better to run such a campaign of coercion and intimidation? Both Kerry and his running mate, John Edwards, are lawyers. Think of them as generals commanding a huge army of lawyers whose sole goal will be to throw this election into confusion and have some judge declare him president. If that fails, he plans to at delay Bush’s inauguration out of pure spite.
Who will win if Kerry succeeds in this strategy? The terrorists will win. They will take advantage of any confusion or turmoil in our nation to attack us both here and abroad.
DIRTY TRICK #4: ILLEGAL USE OF CHURCHES FOR POLITICAL RALLIES. Kerry has spent Sunday after Sunday in African-American churches conducting illegal political rallies. And now one of those churches may lose its tax-exempt status because of Kerry’s callous disregard for the law and the danger to the church.
Democrat lawyers have long threatened conservative pastors with legal action and loss of their tax-exempt status is they engaged in ANY political activities. But when Kerry conducted overt political rallies at these churches, they had “no comment.”. The church that may lose its tax-exempt status is located in Miami, according to Fox News. This inner-city church actually took up an offering for the fabulously wealthy Kerry. Kerry, an attorney, knew this could get the church in trouble with the IRS, but he selfishly did nothing to stop it.
The IRS has refused to comment about the complaint made against the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, where Kerry, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton held the partisan political rally. The pastor of the church, Rev. Gaston Smith, told his congregation during the rally, ''To bring our country out of despair, despondency and disgust, God has a John Kerry!”
DIRTY TRICK #5: INFLUENCING US TROOPS TO COMMIT MUTINY? I use a question mark on this one because nothing has been proven, but one of reader’s comments certainly bear investigation. I received this email as I was writing this article. I include it for your consideration. The fact that the mutineer’s words are almost exactly the same as the phrases Kerry uses every day on the campaign trail certainly raises questions:
“First, thank you all for having the courage and conviction to publicly support the policies and goals of our beloved country set forth over 200 years ago. Many, many of us, quiet and concerned, out here in the countryside are grateful.”
“A thought occurred to us, watching the news about the 18 American troops refusing a direct order recently. It just seemed odd, not only the timing, but the wording of their 'concerns': 'lack of body armor'; ' lack of plating on their trucks'; 'lack of armed escort'; 'bad condition of trucks'...all identical verbiage used repeatedly by Mr. Kerry in his attack on the war. We realize it's a stretch, but is it possible that someone set this up to embarrass the president?
“It is conceivable that the promise of substantial monies would make it worthwhile to risk a dishonorable discharge. It just seems so odd that it happens now, so close to election time (reminiscent of the old George W DUI issue brought up just before the 2000 election). With all the other amazingly blatant things happening, perpetrated by the Democratic party in regard to the election process, fraud, etc., it doesn't seem all that crazy a possibility anymore to us anymore…Again, keep up your valuable and needed work, we appreciate it more than you know. Thank you. Country folk in Tennessee...AK and Debra Morgan.”
DIRTY TRICK #6: HYPOCRITICAL USE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. As Muslims flock to support Kerry for President, his own Church has apparently excommunicated him (see LINK below). Although Kerry claims to be a Catholic in good standing as part of his campaign rhetoric, yet several Catholic Bishops have warned him not to attempt to receive Communion because of his support for abortion on demand.
Recently, the Vatican issued a statement to the effect that that public officials who support abortion by their votes and their statements have excommunicated themselves. I am not an expert on Catholic church government, but apparently this type of excommunication does not require action on the part of a priest. According to the Vatican statement, the politician’s actions constitute heresy, which means automatic excommunication. While the statement did not mention Kerry by name, he clearly falls into that category. And Church watchers feel that the statement was directed at Kerry, who has become a serious embarrassment to the Catholic Church.
Notwithstanding his desire to hide behind his supposed Catholicism, Kerry is the most anti-God, anti-religion candidate I have ever observed. One reader observed that considering Kerry’s cozy relationship with the ACLU, and the ACLU’s stated intent to strip any reference to God from our public life, Kerry and the ACLU may have a “January surprise” for us if Kerry is elected. He speculated that, similar to Clinton’s allowing open homosexuality in the military as his first official act, Kerry might close all chapels on military bases and discharge all the military chaplains that provide comfort and spiritual guidance to our troops of all religions. This would bring great cheer to the liberals, but would demoralize our military personnel.
DIRTY TRICK #7: SCARING THE LIFE OUT OF US CITIZENS WITH LIES. Fear mongering is one of Kerry’s favorite campaign tactics. I discussed in detail about how he is lying about Social Security in my article, “Kerry is God!” (See LINK below, or visit our Archives at www.ConservativeTruth.org to read the article if you missed it.) Suffice it to say that Bush is NOT going to take away Social Security checks from the elderly. Gore tried that lie last election, and everyone is still getting their checks. But it is reprehensible for Kerry, who knows it is not true, to cause anxiety among senior citizens for whom their monthly check is their lifeline. Kerry is truly heartless.
And Bush’s plan to allow YOUNG PEOPLE to invest part of their own money in private plans that pay ten times what Social Security pays is not going to affect the elderly in any way. (See LINK, “The Top 10 Myths about Social Security Reform” below.) Kerry knows this is a lie, yet he continues to frighten elderly people with it. The man is simply amoral. His problem is not that he goes against his morals when he lies. He has no morals, so lying is as natural to him as breathing.
DIRTY TRICK #8: LYING ABOUT TAXES. Kerry claims he will tax the heck out of the rich and give the money to the poor. Aside from the fact that is impossible (the top 50% of taxpayers ALREADY pay 90% of the taxes), Kerry is a bald-faced hypocrite. He and his wife are multi-billionaires, but President Bush pays more taxes than they do. Last year Bush paid 34% of his income; the Kerrys paid just 12%, LESS than most middle class families.
Think about it. Do we want a president who has been endorsed by (see LINK “John Kerry Endorsements the Liberals Don't Want to Advertise” below for proof). Just the fact that these people endorse Kerry would be enough to stop me from voting for him:
