Who cares whether Germany "declared war"? They're just words. Germany never attacked us, Japan did. You seem to be suggesting that Germany attacked Pearl Harbor.

Germany was never an "imminent threat" to us. In point of fact, we were the aggressors, supporting the Europeans both overtly and covertly before Pearl Harbor. You could say that we made a pre-emptive strike against Hitler, using European surrogates. Hitler was just trying to defend himself.

Right?
