What are the root causes? And dont give me that look of yours.(g). Root causes are not always the usual litany of the left--poverty, israel, western oil interest. There are deep religious and societal reasons that may explain more. I think you would agree with that and not just leap to the victimhood arena. mike

Actually, Bush is trying to address "root causes": he wants to see democratic and capitalist regimes flourish in the region to allow political differences to be resolved peacefully and to increase prosperity and individual liberty in the region.
