Okay it looks like you are not looking at it from the clash of civilizations angle, and apparently aren't too worried the muslims will conquer our nation, make me read the koran, force my daughter to serve their base desires, etc. I agree that a nuclear attack which killed hundreds of thousands of our citizens would be a terrible thing. Also they could launch simultaneous poisonings of our water systems, release vaccine-resistent smallpox, something like that. Let me make myself clear about that: I am VERY MUCH in favor of preventing attacks that cause mass casualties or worse. In no way do I favor allowing these things to happen. I am ABSOLUTELY in favor of crushing this threat. In fact, I propose we go BEYOND crushing the threat, I suggest we both CRUSH it and EVISCERATE it. And I am relieved that I will not be forced at gunpoint to change my name to "Abdul" or forced to urinate on a crucifix or whatever it is those crazy jihadists make their victims do.
