"the national electric grid still needs a lot of work." No kidding, Goldie... HUGE problem! And, it's totally absent from the campaign.... Congress stalemated on the Grid fixes... they tried to roll all the Grid fixes into the 'Energy bill' pork fest... which was loaded up like a Christmas tree with special favors for 'special' groups.... the 'No Lobbyist Left Behind Act'! All efforts to pass the much needed electric grid fixes on their own, on a bi-partisan basis, were stimied by the powers that be.
