Ted, If it was that offensive to him, why did he shake his hand? A bit of hypocrisy at play?

About every four years, the president speaks at a West Point graduation. Then each cadet goes up to the front one-by-one, receives his or her diploma, then shakes the president's hand. It's all part of the ceremony.

By the way, maybe "grimace" was the wrong word. It was more like a formal, tight-lipped smile that showed anything but enthusiasm.
