Snakes scare me.

I'm like a little sissy when I see one. Even in
the back yard trimming hedges or whacking the weeds.
When they surprise me, I run/hop away screaming (sorta)
like a little school girl until I come to my senses.

Anyhow I jumped a little when I saw that pic that
you linked to. (Thought it was bout to strike me.)

But then I read it's name:
Thamnophis sauritus septentrionalis

And realized I was safe. It appears that with a
name like that, it must live in Greece.

Beautiful snake, huh? I love photographing snakes
although i see that snakes are not the preferred
subjects for at least one person on this thread.
