I'd be particulary worried about the stability of the US$. As it's valuation slides, there's going to be pressure to prop it up by increasing overnight lending rates. Bonds will go into the dumper as foreign investors pull money out to greener pastures (Saudis). The level of debt in the states, govt., business and retail, is at alltime highs. Once money gets expensive, businesses and people can't afford to pay it and bankruptcy rate will skyrocket. There'll certainly be a recession. IMO, there's starting a Gold bull as investors will hedge the stock and currency markets. Run for the hills folks. Kerry's going to inheret Shrub's disaster.
