I completely agree with your attitude on the spirit of debate. I have tried to measure my responses without taking aim at you or anyone else. I am sure that some of the rhetoric will sound personal but that goes with the heat of debate.



I refuse to compare our soldiers in Iraq to the terrorists they are hunting. The terrorists are killing everyone in their way without mercy. If you are a policeman and shoot someone that is breaking the law, that is legitimate enforcement. Since the US military is working to support Iraqi troops and police, I have no problem with them cooperating with the Iraqi executive powers to bring the terrorists out into the streets and do battle. They have given them options to comply with the Iraqi government and turn in their weapons. The alternative solution will be solved through less diplomatic acts of force over the next few weeks and months.
