I think for more than 2 years now in a lot of US cities, only the house below $250,000 have bee sold like hot cake. Few buyers are interested in the houses more than half million. Maybe because more and more new interested owners are low-income/younger people. So those baby boomers who invested all them life savings in a house may not be able to find any buyers when they want to sell them<g>
