My brother, his son, daughter and their respective families all live in the Tampa, St. Pete area. It has long been my plan to move there after I don't have to be in Denver caring for an aging mother and uncle. This past hurricane season has caused me to totally abandon those plans. I'll stay right here in Colorado, in a smaller place than I have now, and visit FL each winter. Our winters are relatively tame in past years and the occasional tornados that make national news nearly all occur many miles to the east of me. I want nothing to do with a hurricane.
