The first long reply didnot add value. It was not posted.

The dark evil path is the one that Democrats have been following for five years. It leads through Lautenberg, the SCOF, the 24/7 partisan bashing of a sitting President.

The light is showing on the path Presdient Bush is leading us on in Iraq. It has a much better chance of freeing us from fear than any path Kerry could ever follow.

Kerry's first CO rotated out after laughing at Kerry for trying to get a Purple Heart (his first injury came eight days before writing in his diary he had not seen enemy action). Kerry came back at the replacement after the men who were there were gone too. I recall seeing that the second CO has said that Kerry was unable to lead. I did not see an immediate link.

Bush's CO:
In November 1970 the Commander of the Texas Air National Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Jerry B. Killian, called Lieutenant Bush "a dynamic outstanding young officer". When rating his flight performance, the commander said he was "A top-notch fighter interceptor pilot" and that his skills "far exceed his contemporaries". Killian also wrote, "He is a natural leader whom his contemporaries look to for leadership. Lieutenant Bush is also a good follower with outstanding disciplinary traits and impeccable military training."

Because you are partisan, you impute your feelings on others. The biased media you accept because it is liberal enough shows you liberal spin instead of news. Kerry has offended every major ally we have. If you think France and Germany and the rest of the coalition of the coerced and the bribed (by Saddam) are allies, you need to pay closer attention. World leaders respect Bush, many who are out of favor do not like him.

If you ever went to high school, recall the teacher that enforced to rules, if he was fair, he may have still been hated. He was however respected. Bush has stated what his rules are, and he has enforced them. Bush has been fair and consistent. President Bush is not motivated by greed and self interest like that which guided Clinton.

Re: His CO said that he was not able to lead his men in Vietnam.

The CO who recommended a Purple Heart?

If you're trying to imply that a recommendation for a Purple Heart is an evaluation of leadership ability, you really don't know anything about the military. Any dogface can get hit with shrapnel, even if he's headed the wrong way.
