Sure, if you think the war is unwarranted, then it is deplorable that they die for nothing. No argument. We just disagree on whether the war was appropriate.

As of today, I will resist the temptation to rebut these kind of posts.

One last comment about the war in Iraq. The US is helping the Iraqi government to restore their nation. The US is not imposing any irrational restraints upon Iraq. I am all about banning suicide bombing, bus bombing, check point bombing, school bombing, WTC bombing, USS Cole bombing, kidnapping, beheading, Pentagon bombing, hijacking, dirty bombing, and making idle threats against all Christian and Jewish peoples. To use religion as a social excuse to murder and attack other people is absurd. The people of Iraq have been more belligerant than the people in Afghanistan. That leaves little question in my mind that we did the right thing to get Saddam out of the way. They are mostly killing their own people - soldiers, policeman, CARE workers, and innocent people sitting on buses. I don't know why you want to give so much credit to this medieval form of behavior.

I support Bush's policy to hunt down the terrorists in every corner of the world. Iraq is a showcase of terrorism. It has been a much more difficult battle than the one in Afghanistan.
