You Dad and mine were exactly the same age, then. He died in 1995 at the age of 83. He died on his feet and enjoyed life to the last, just like your Dad did. They are all heroes, in my book. When they were born, most people used horses for locomotion; when they died, moon walking was old news. There will never be another generation like theirs. My own generation is spoiled rotten, and you can see it every day in our malls, media, and politics. We haven't suffered enough, I guess. Canada has some very tough problems. Bilingualism is one that stems from your history, and has a host of problems. Yet we have people here trying to force it on us involuntarily. I don't understand their motivation, except that they have a perverse desire to weaken our unity. Canada a wonderful country, and I enjoyed every minute that I've spent in it. Banff and the Canadian Rockies are unbelievably beautiful. Our own Glacier Park is but a hint of what you have up there.
