The weak link was who provided the sample. The CIA was concerned enough that it suggested delaying a verdict until additional samples could be obtained.

I certainly don't think Clinton was a war criminal, but it bothers me that we bomb a suspected nerve gas plant and hours later reporters and others are walking all over the site and no one even gets a rash. And the suspected agent is in the soil OUTSIDE the plant? That's odd.

Of course officials are going to defend the bombing as a good decision based on the information they had at the time, but does that mean the decision was the correct one? I don't know.

Sometimes one needs to look at the total picture - if it's too easy it's probably not right.
