ephud, proves that by rolling you can still make money on a short put that is ITM. A roll for a net gain will add money to the account, but the closed trade still might be for a paper loss. Eventually, rolling works only if the market goes in the direction of the strategy, and any paper loss is offset by a great gain later on. Any suggestions in the below $20 range Presently not really looking. I'm filled to the max with DELL, MSFT, INTC, CSCO, HD. Today opened a new position....DELL December 35 short straddle @ 2.50.
