#1 is factually incorrect the Prez did not mention Niger or Nigeria either)....

#2 is factually correct, however, it has now been shown that Wilson report to Congress was misleading and that his work actually supports the theory that Iraq rtried to acwquire nuclear materials in Africa...

#3 is a mischaracterization.....in fact the unverified US report was omitted and only the Brit report was mentioned (still backed by Brit intel)...Tenet wsas of the opinion since it was Brit intel not our own it should have been omitted.

#4 States a legal conclusion which has yet to be proven....

And he sipped tea poolside, never really investigated a
thing, and upon returning to the US, delivered a verbal
briefing after the trip.

To whom? Well, the same people who sent him to Niger,
naturally. Who are...?

We don't know. But we should. Because Wilson's mission
appears to have been a sham from the start.

The “Confusion” of Joseph Wilson

dev.siliconinvestor.com

Martin Peretz, editor-in-chief of The New Republic, has some thoughts on the Joe Wilson story. It's pretty bad when this liberal source bad mouths him.

"The tale spun by former Ambassador Joseph Wilson that Iraq did not ever try to buy uranium yellowcake from Niger is now in the process of unraveling. And, of course, the phalanx of anti-war journalists is desperately trying to stop the bust-up. But it can't be done.
