My point a few days ago was that Allawi is at minimum acting the role of a politician. Lots of his people were killed - he had two choices - continue to side only with the US and blame *only* terrorists, or, take some heat off himself and blame the US.

I'm not too surprised, given the deliberateness, obvious planning, and magnitude of the slaughter, that he chose to break ranks with Bush over this.

I suggested then that maybe Karl Rove is advising Allawi in his campaign too...
