Might actually make a nice short story. Someone sells his soul (or equivalent) for next week's stock prices, makes a killing in the options market and gets (unjustly?) accused and convicted of insider trading...

New York Times...I don't care that much about the front page.

Interesting stuff on the home page of the New York Times tonight.

First, Let me spam my post from momo-T/FIF for completeness:

<<Congrats to the Red Sox and all their fans! I count myself among them except for a minor tug on the heart strings caused by Stan the Man Musial being my childhood hero. Boston, that's the way to get rid of a curse!

Speaking of getting rid of curses, the election Tuesday gives a clear choice. If you think invading Iraq was the greatest idea we've ever had, is going beautifully, and is a thrilling and satisfying adventure in bringing democracy to the Middle East, vote for Bush. Otherwise vote for the other guy.>>

With Nothing Left to Win, Fans of Red Sox Suddenly Feel a Loss

Having waited 86 years for World Series glory, Bostonians found themselves swirling with elation, but also scratching their heads.

p.s. I'm not sanguine about the damage Kerry may do to the 'Big Bad Drug Lords' and their biotech friends, and other things, but the damage that Bush unchained might do is nothing to sneeze at either. Iraq looks so headed for disaster that you almost wish the 'wrong' guy would win, and get stuck with it.

p.p.s. Peter, here's a virtual cartoon you can do after the election"

Mom: Pick up you room!

Small Boy: I have a plan for that.
